PosterLad

Vratislav Pecka, a digital designer from Prague, Czech Republic, started this project in October 2016 when he realized he needs a getaway from his usual commissioned work. Designing posters became his passion instantly and he is making posters almost daily until now. Combining modern elements and a bit of vintage approach are making the final product distinguishable from other designers.

Village Ghosts

The project combines several different materials. As an imagery interpretation of the Taiwan traditional ghost story and the childhood memories of writer. The project was using pencil and ink with the simple line to create the atmosphere. In this way, the picture is more close to the imagine of writer. The challenges are mainly focus on combine the real story and the traditional culture in the project.

Futuristic Hong Kong #1

'Futuristic Hong Kong' is a series of digital art pieces which were heavily inspired by the close-knit architecture of Hong Kong, and the sub-genre of Cyberpunk. These two themes also come hand-in-hand with the almost claustrophobic way of living, as well as the gradual suppression of society as it is commonly associated with the dystopian nature of Cyberpunk.

Phi Lessons

Visual Identity developed for a design-oriented technical course. The brand stands for a visual and objective representation of the course's main content: the Golden Ratio. Accompanying brand communication, complementary material was developed, such as: patterns, illustrations, stationery, certificates and other complementary items. In addition to the main brand, other four variations were produced to be used in different situations.

You Live We Care

Conceived as an editorial project intended for digital publication, the Activity Report is a 48-page booklet that measures 175x250 mm. It describes what Europ Assistance does in a typical year, using a fresh, modern graphic approach. As the first expression of the new brand identity of the group, it is characterized by a series of original illustrations produced in a way that suggests a dual metaphorical interpretation. The hardcopy version is handsomely presented with a die-cut cover and uses only natural paper on the inside.

Black Crows

Well-designed skis manufactured in top ski factories, with shapes and flex patterns that are contemporary and accessible but still provide performance. The brand’s aesthetics is clean and distinctive. The chevron pattern, created by the art director Yorgo Tloupas, reminiscent of six black crows flying in unison, is applied on everything that the brand produces... not only on skis. You can spot the chevron everywhere: on clothes, visual merchandising, ad campaigns, music festival identity, and even a Chamonix map has been entirely drawn with this geometrical shape!
